Your ability to reach the ball, to get into a good position, to stretch well and recover come from the feet.
Look after them well.
Soak them, get them massaged or whatever it is that you need to do, because blisters or other problems can ruin weeks of hard work in one moment.
Think about buying one of those rollers that you use to massage your arches.
Find the right kinds of socks for you; some people like thick socks, or double socks, or even athletic race-thin socks.
As insignificant as they seem, they are the foundation on which your movement stems from.
